Free Group Class

No musical background required, just come ready to have a lot of fun! Classes are held via Zoom at 4:00 PM Hawaii Time on the second Tuesday of every month. Lessons run approximately 45 minutes and are open to anyone living with Parkinson's, as well as their care partners.

You will need to purchase a harmonica in the key of C available on turtleharp.com

Turtleharp is one of our harmonica partners. They have an online store that is also attached to a non-for-profit called Harmonicas for Hope. Purchases from their store contribute to donation harmonicas for Harmonicas for Hope. For beginners, we are recommending the bushman steele harmonica. Loaded cost is $12. That includes shipping and taxes and for bulk purchases, which is three or more for every two harmonicas purchased at the $12 rate -one gets donated to Harmonicas for Hope.

Please feel free to purchase from your Local Music store as well. We are discouraging purchases from Amazon as they do not give back like the small businesses do.

For people that are interested in a higher-end harmonica, which are typically more for intermediate to advanced  players, our other partner is the Lee Oskar Harmonica company. These harmonicas purchased as single harmonica  are also available on turtleharp.com but for bulk purchases for groups there is also a special rate which goes through the LEE OSKAR  harmonica company directly- for people interested in that, just reach out to me.

Lee Oskar Partnership

Lee Oskar Harmonicas are partnering with us to bring harmonicas to the 2026 World Parkinson's Congress Music Leadership Workshop.

We are a welcoming and supportive community for people with Parkinson's and their care partners. Our mission is to learn together, ask questions, share resources, and use music to support speech, breathing, and overall quality of life in a fun and encouraging environment.

Whether you're brand new to harmonica or have been playing with us for months, there's a place for you here. Our classes and events are designed to meet you wherever you are on your journey. No pressure, no judgment, just progress at your own pace surrounded by people who understand.
